Me and photography

I am a keen enthusiast and have been taking photographs for a few years now. I have a genuine passion for capturing that natural moment with my camera so that it may be treasured for years to come.

My aim, during a family photo session, is to photograph an expression, an emotion, a moment in time that is not planned but just happens.

I am currently taking all my shots with a Nikon D300, using an 18-200mm VR lens.

I prefer working with natural light which is why most of my work is done outdoors. Living in Inverness gives me the 'Highlands of Scotland' as a backdrop.
